Charles Michael Laveso
Charles Michael Laveso, is Brazilian born in São Caetano do Sul, in the state of São Paulo’s country.
He owns a realistic drawings school downtown in Ribeirão Preto, where he holds classes. There have been many expositions at some malls from around this same city’s area, which also had the acknowledgement of many major means of communication and news.
In July this year (2013), he created his first realistic drawings set for tattoos, which was awarded first place in black & white realistic drawings at Tattoo Week São Paulo 2013.
And ever since, he has started to turn his drawing teaching towards tattoo artists who wish to grow as artists in their field.

The aim of the workshop is to give the participants a sound understanding of how to create lifelike and realistic portraits, from basic methods to advanced drawing techniques and theory to add depth, volume, atmosphere and life to portraits drawings. Techniques on how to render realistic hair and how to create complex textures like skin with a layering approach, tonal value relationship, drawing details and working with different kinds of contrast to achieve a balanced visual interest in drawing are on the agenda. Many more aspects will be covered. Demo’s will be used, all questions answered. while working from photographs during the workshop the gained skills and knowledge can and should be used for life drawing and painting experiences as well. Beginner to advanced levels.
